Many small projects were worked on today. We cleaned the room to get ready for Brick City Reunion Weekend and the Open House that we'll be hosting on Saturday from 12:00-4:00pm. All the exposed styrofoam used for land contours has been painted.
The mainline tracks in Niagara Falls were ballasted, except for one switch at the east end of the yard. More foam was installed around Lockport near the Erie Canal scene.
The diamond leading to the helix was messed around with to make it slightly more reliable than it has been in the past. Also, more of Matt's Santa Fe power began to take over our railroad.
Meetings are Tuesday nights at 7:00pm in Room A420 in the lower level of the Student Union. Our next event will be our Brick City Open House on Saturday, October 17, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Admission is free, and we will be running trains for the public to enjoy. Come on down!
