Goodman Street Yard, 1999

As we wind down our activities for the year, we wanted to share this "blast from the past." This scene from 1999 is from our current layout, though the environment looks very different. Goodman Street yard office is missing its distinctive tower, and the hillside and retaining wall that separate the yard scene from the Red Onion scene have yet to be built... In fact, Red Onion has yet to be built! An orange pick-up truck wearing the old RIT "we cut corners" logo sits by the yard office... Could it be two Physical Plant workers taking a lunch break watching trains? (If you'd like to visit us over the summer, contact us to see if we'll be here to show you around...) Have a great summer!

Almost end of the year...

J.C., Drew, and Rob test out a new locomotive on the club's model railroad one fine Saturday afternoon in April...You'll find club members down here on the weekends to hang out, run trains, sleep (just don't fall asleep while running your train)... Regular meetings are Tuesday nights at 7:30pm...
